Fundraiser for Life Guides for Autistics

Saturday, March 7, Dr. Arti Amin, of Corona Foot and Ankle, and her husband Niraj, are hosting an evening fundraising event for Foundation for Life Guides for Autistics and NeuroGuides. They are graciously hosting the event at their home in Yorba Linda. This is a cause dear to them and they are enthusiastic about supporting these organizations.

The event is organized to create a space for prospective donors to socialize, hear the stories of Life Guides for Autistics, and then give outright, pledge, or plan gifts to the charitable organization. This event is by personal invitation only, and organizers and guests will leverage their networks to bring interested donor-investors to the event to raise strategic contributions for the Foundation. Those unable to attend are still encouraged to give.

Funds raised will be used towards the services and resources provided by the Foundation for Life Guides for Autistics.

These include, but are not limited to:

Expansion of Services    

Funds to develop coaching curriculum, train new Life Guides coaches, build group support initiatives, support Spectrum Lights Inclusion Summits, and provide office space to meet autistics and their support persons.

Education and Outreach

Funds for continuing to change the narrative around autism, inclusivity, and neurodiversity, to be applied to conference appearances, corporate leadership training, and education.

Funds for establishing a Podcast service, training videos, and educational materials for autistic persons and their families. In addition to marketing, including advertising displays on the company vehicle and promotional materials.

Administrative Resources

These are resources for the organization, including life coach compensation, insurance, professional fees, and administrative support. In 2019 volunteers and the CEO provided all administrative support at no cost. For 3 consecutive years, the annual salary for the lead coach has been 50% less than the goal set by the organization’s board.

Scholarships

Funds for a coaching scholarships for low-income population. The 2020 cost for each coaching session hour is $80.

NeuroGuides is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit charitable organization. The Foundation for Life Guides for Autistics, founded by J. David Hall, M.Div., is a unique social transformation organization created to address a critical need for individuals on the autism spectrum who experience social isolation, joblessness, relationship challenges, and an alarming suicide rate. Since its inception, Life Guides for Autistics has directly served dozens of autistic adults worldwide through its methodology of engagement, equipping, and encouragement.

Hosted the first Spectrum Lights Inclusivity Summit (2019), where autistic individuals, from across the U.S. and Australia, gathered to learn and grow together in a supportive community.

Partnered with The Aspergian (a worldwide collective of autistic writers) and Spectrum Suite, LLC (an organization dedicated to celebrating neurodiversity through service and education).

A worldwide voice in the neurodiversity and inclusivity movement, providing educational trainings to businesses and government leaders, and serving as

committee members for the Stanford University Neurodiversity Project and Southwest Washington Autism Conferences.

Featured on GuideStar and a listed charity on the PayPal Giving Fund.
